Regierung entlässt Macarena Cortés aus dem Opferschutzdienst

Die Regierung hat Macarena Cortés am Mittwoch von ihrem Posten als erste Direktorin des Nationalen Dienstes für Justizzugang und Opferschutz entbunden. Die Entscheidung wurde ihr in einem Treffen mit Justizminister Fernando Rabat mitgeteilt.

Am Mittwochmorgen um 8:30 Uhr wurde Macarena Cortés in das Justizministerium geladen. Dort übermittelten Minister Fernando Rabat und Unterstaatssekretär Luis Silva die Aufforderung zu ihrem Rücktritt.

Cortés war Ende letzten Jahres ernannt worden. Zuvor war sie als Leiterin der Abteilung für soziale Wiedereingliederung im selben Ministerium tätig.

Die Behörden bewerteten ihre berufliche Leistung positiv, entschieden sich jedoch dazu, ein stärker exekutives Profil für die Einrichtung zu suchen. Der neue Direktor wird über das System für das höhere öffentliche Management ausgewählt.
