Lula nimmt Kritik an Bolsonaros Umgang mit der Covid-19-Pandemie wieder auf

Präsident Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva setzte am Montag (11.) seine Angriffe auf Jair Bolsonaros Handhabung der Covid-19-Pandemie fort. Er stellte einen Bericht des Gesundheitsministeriums vor und forderte Anhänger dazu auf, das Dokument zu lesen.

Die Veranstaltung fand anlässlich der Unterzeichnung eines Gesetzentwurfs statt, der den 12. März als Nationalen Gedenktag für die Opfer von Covid-19 festlegt. Lula betonte, dass das Dokument die Maßnahmen der vorherigen Regierung detailliert darstelle, einschließlich der Verharmlosung des Virus und des Widerstands gegen Impfungen.

"Das Gesundheitsministerium hat hier den Bericht 'Bolsonaros Management und die Covid-19-Pandemie' veröffentlicht. Es ist wichtig, dass jeder Aktivist dieses Dokument in den Händen hält", sagte der Präsident. Er kritisierte zudem die wissenschaftlich nicht fundierte Befürwortung von Chloroquin.

Gesundheitsminister Alexandre Padilha stellte klar, dass er den Text als Privatperson verfasst habe, ohne Ressourcen des Ministeriums zu nutzen. Lula bezeichnete Eduardo Bolsonaro zudem indirekt als "Flüchtling".
