Regierung Petro legt Steuerreform vor, um 2027 21,9 Billionen Pesos einzunehmen

Er erläuterte, dass die Last auf große Vermögen und hohe Einkommen falle, um das Haushaltsdefizit anzugehen. Zu den Maßnahmen gehören die Kürzung einer parafiskalischen Befreiung in Höhe von 8,5 Billionen, die Erhöhung der Mehrwertsteuer auf fossile Brennstoffe und Hybridfahrzeuge sowie eine Steuer von 1 % auf Exporte von Erdöl und Kohle. Weitere Bestimmungen betreffen Steuern auf alkoholische Getränke, Tabakwaren und Glücksspiele. In der Begründung wird darauf hingewiesen, dass die Initiative die Einnahmen stärkt, ohne die produktive Tätigkeit zu beeinträchtigen, und öffentliche Investitionen in Sektoren wie Infrastruktur und Gesundheit schützt.
