ActionSA critica a Didiza por el interdicto de juicio político contra Ramaphosa

ActionSA ha expresado su profunda decepción por la decisión de la presidenta de la Asamblea Nacional, Thoko Didiza, de no oponerse a la solicitud de interdicto del presidente Cyril Ramaphosa ante el Tribunal Superior de Western Cape respecto al proceso de juicio político.

ActionSA ha criticado duramente la decisión y exige que el Parlamento defienda su independencia constitucional y se oponga activamente al intento del presidente de detener el proceso.

El diputado de ActionSA, Athol Trollip, afirma que el partido no está sorprendido por la decisión de Didiza, ya que la historia se repite.

“No, no estamos sorprendidos, estamos muy decepcionados, pero no sorprendidos. Como comité de juicio político, instruimos al presidente el jueves que debía oponerse al interdicto y que el presidente debería reunirse con la presidenta de la Asamblea para alentarla a hacer lo mismo. No nos sorprende porque esto es como un déjà vu. Ella y su predecesora hicieron exactamente lo mismo con Jacob Zuma en el caso Nkandla y con Ramaphosa en la respuesta inicial al informe del panel independiente de la Sección 89, y ahora Thoko Didiza lo está haciendo de nuevo. Es simplemente insostenible, inaceptable y muy decepcionante”.
