El servicio de trenes de carga China-Europa completó su viaje número 130.000 el pasado sábado, con un valor total de mercancías que supera los 520.000 millones de dólares, informó el Grupo Estatal de Ferrocarriles de China. El tren X8037 partió de la estación de Zhengzhou Putian con destino a Hamburgo, Alemania.

El servicio conecta 129 ciudades chinas con 235 ciudades en 26 países europeos y más de 100 ciudades en 11 países asiáticos. Opera 93 rutas regulares a velocidades de hasta 120 kilómetros por hora.

El número máximo de vagones por tren ha aumentado a 55, con una capacidad de tracción de 3.000 toneladas métricas. Los viajes de ida y vuelta se mantienen equilibrados y la tasa de carga de contenedores se mantiene en el 100 por ciento. Veintidós trenes semanales programados prestan servicio a nueve ciudades chinas y seis europeas.

A finales de abril, estos trenes habían completado más de 1.700 viajes. El valor medio por contenedor creció un 41 por ciento, mientras que las tarifas de transporte han caído más de un 40 por ciento desde su lanzamiento. El servicio ferroviario transporta más de 50.000 tipos de productos en 53 categorías.
