Más de 5.000 automovilistas de Guangdong son aprobados para el programa de viajes a Hong Kong

El Departamento de Transporte de Hong Kong informa que, desde el lanzamiento del programa de viajes hacia el sur para vehículos de Guangdong el 23 de diciembre del año pasado, se han aprobado más de 5.000 solicitudes y se han registrado más de 3.500 reservas de viaje hasta finales de marzo, con un 90% de viajeros quedándose uno o dos días. El programa permite que hasta 100 vehículos diarios de Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan y Jiangmen ingresen a las zonas urbanas de Hong Kong a través del puente Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao por un máximo de 72 horas.

El Departamento de Transporte de Hong Kong señaló el domingo que la parte de acceso urbano del programa de viajes hacia el sur para vehículos de Guangdong está funcionando sin problemas y se ha vuelto cada vez más popular desde su lanzamiento cerca de finales de 2025.

"Desde su lanzamiento el 23 de diciembre del año pasado y hasta finales de marzo de este año, el departamento ha aprobado más de 5.000 solicitudes y ha registrado más de 3.500 reservas de viaje, con alrededor del 90 por ciento de los viajeros permaneciendo en Hong Kong durante uno a dos días", indicó el departamento.

Actualmente, el programa otorga acceso a hasta 100 vehículos al día provenientes de Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Zhongshan y Jiangmen. Los vehículos aprobados pueden ingresar a Hong Kong durante los horarios reservados a través del puente Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao y permanecer en la ciudad por un máximo de 72 horas.

El acuerdo tiene como objetivo integrar los automóviles privados de China continental en la red de carreteras de la ciudad para impulsar el turismo, con las autoridades locales destacando el potencial económico de esta afluencia.
