Educadoras infantiles se encierran en Rivas para exigir mejores condiciones

Una treintena de profesionales de educación infantil han iniciado un encierro en la escuela Platero de Rivas-Vaciamadrid. Llevan un mes en huelga indefinida reclamando ratios más bajas, dos educadoras por aula y salarios superiores al salario mínimo interprofesional.

Las educadoras iniciaron el encierro el viernes por la tarde tras vaciarse la escuela de niños. Lucía Martínez, de la Plataforma Laboral Escuelas Infantiles, explicó que las ratios actuales resultan inviables y que se necesita una pareja educativa por aula para mejorar la atención.

Las trabajadoras denuncian que muchas perciben solo el salario mínimo pese a su formación y responsabilidad. Miriam, una de las participantes, destacó el impacto del sector mayoritariamente femenino en las condiciones laborales y subrayó que la educación de 0 a 3 años es un pilar fundamental para el desarrollo infantil.

La alcaldesa de Rivas, Aída Castillejo, visitó el centro y mostró su apoyo. Sin embargo, las educadoras lamentan la falta de respuesta del Gobierno de la Comunidad de Madrid. El encierro está previsto para prolongarse durante todo el fin de semana.
