Eva Orúe destituida como directora de la Feria del Libro de Madrid

La periodista Eva Orúe fue despedida este lunes como directora de la Feria del Libro de Madrid. La Asociación de Librerías de Madrid comunicó el cese de forma unilateral. Orúe ha ocupado el cargo durante las últimas cinco ediciones.

La decisión se tomó el lunes por la mañana. Orúe declaró que no comparte las razones alegadas pero reconoce la potestad de la asociación para rescindir el contrato.

El presidente de la Asociación, Luis M. Tigeras, afirmó que ya trabajan en una nueva etapa. Destacó los avances logrados en sostenibilidad y programación cultural durante el mandato de Orúe.

Pablo Bonet ejercerá como director en funciones hasta la selección de un nuevo responsable. La asociación busca reunir a los libreros para definir el futuro de la feria.
