Exministro Gajardo insta a no relativizar indultos a violadores de niños

El exministro Jaime Gajardo criticó las declaraciones del ministro Fernando Rabat sobre analizar caso a caso posibles indultos a condenados por delitos sexuales contra menores.

El ministro de Justicia Fernando Rabat respondió el jueves en CNN Chile que cualquier decisión sobre indultos dependerá de las circunstancias del expediente. “Va a depender del caso y del análisis que usted efectúa”, señaló.

El presidente José Antonio Kast había afirmado en diciembre pasado durante un debate: “Jamás indultaría a un abusador de niños. Jamás”. Gajardo, ex titular de la cartera, respondió que bajo ninguna circunstancia se debe indultar a quienes cometieron delitos sexuales contra niños o violaciones a los derechos humanos en dictadura.

“Esos criminales no merecen ningún tipo de indulto, la señal de relativizar eso es muy mala para nuestra sociedad”, declaró Gajardo a La Tercera. Rabat sostuvo además una reunión con Kast este viernes en La Moneda para tratar solicitudes de indulto.
