El Supremo informa en contra del indulto a García Ortiz

La Sala de lo Penal del Tribunal Supremo ha emitido un informe desfavorable al indulto solicitado para el ex fiscal general Álvaro García Ortiz.

El tribunal condenó a García Ortiz por un delito de revelación de datos reservados del empresario Alberto González Amador, novio de Isabel Díaz Ayuso. La sentencia impuso una multa de 7.200 euros y dos años de inhabilitación especial para el cargo de fiscal general.

El informe, conocido este jueves, señala que los hechos fueron graves y afectaron la institucionalidad de la Fiscalía. La Sala no aprecia razones de justicia, equidad o utilidad pública para conceder la medida de gracia.

La Fiscalía, a través de la teniente fiscal Ángeles Sánchez-Conde, informó a favor del indulto parcial de la inhabilitación pendiente. García Ortiz ya ha pagado la multa y 10.000 euros en indemnización.

La decisión corresponde ahora al Ministerio de Justicia dirigido por Félix Bolaños.
