Grupo Abra respalda reglas de slots en El Dorado y prevé mayor inversión

Grupo Abra, matriz de Avianca y Gol, apoyó la decisión de la Aeronáutica Civil de Colombia de alinear la asignación de slots en el aeropuerto El Dorado con estándares internacionales de Iata. La compañía ve en esta medida una señal de estabilidad regulatoria que impulsará inversiones y la competitividad del país. Ejecutivos destacaron beneficios para la conectividad, turismo y empleo.

Grupo Abra respaldó la decisión de la Aeronáutica Civil de mantener la asignación de slots en el aeropuerto El Dorado alineada con las directrices de Iata, para un uso más eficiente de la infraestructura en aeropuertos congestionados.

Adrián Neuhauser, CEO de Abra, afirmó que este entorno regulatorio brinda confianza para seguir invirtiendo en el crecimiento de Avianca, fortaleciendo la conectividad del país, impulsando el turismo y generando empleo para más de 10.000 familias colombianas.

Gabriel Oliva, presidente de Avianca, indicó que con este respaldo y el apoyo financiero del grupo, la aerolínea avanzará en su plan de expansión, basado en un pedido de más de 100 aviones A320, para ampliar rutas y ofrecer mejores tarifas a los usuarios.

La compañía enfatizó que el monitoreo permanente de los slots optimizará operaciones y elevará estándares de cumplimiento en la industria, reforzando a Colombia como hub aéreo regional.
