Langham Hospitality Group de Hong Kong firma acuerdo hotelero en Xiongan

Langham Hospitality Group, con sede en Hong Kong, ha firmado un acuerdo de gestión con China Xiongan Group Public Service Management Company para abrir dos hoteles en Xiongan, provincia de Hebei. El complejo contará con una superficie de 23.700 metros cuadrados y ofrecerá 300 habitaciones bajo las marcas Cordis y Ying’nFlo, cuya apertura está programada para el segundo trimestre de 2028. Representa una de las inversiones más tangibles de una empresa de Hong Kong en este proyecto.

Langham Hospitality Group, con sede en Hong Kong y filial de propiedad absoluta de Great Eagle Holdings, informó el jueves que ha firmado un acuerdo de gestión con China Xiongan Group Public Service Management para abrir dos hoteles en Xiongan, ubicado en la provincia de Hebei, a unos 100 km de Pekín.

El complejo hotelero abarcará unos 23.700 metros cuadrados y ofrecerá 300 habitaciones bajo las marcas Cordis y Ying’nFlo. Su apertura está programada para el segundo trimestre de 2028. "A medida que la ciudad toma forma, creemos que nuestro enfoque de doble marca será muy adecuado para atender la amplia gama de necesidades de viaje que acompañarán a su crecimiento", señaló Bob van den Oord, director ejecutivo de Langham.

El acuerdo se produce en medio del impulso de Xi Jinping para acelerar el desarrollo en la zona. Xi reiteró que el papel central de la zona es absorber las funciones no esenciales de Pekín, incluidas las empresas estatales, universidades y hospitales, al tiempo que fomenta las industrias emergentes y mejora los servicios públicos.

Anunciado por primera vez en 2017, Xiongan es una pieza central de la estrategia regional de China para aliviar la presión sobre la capital y reequilibrar el crecimiento en toda la región de Pekín-Tianjin-Hebei.
