Discusión de reforma al SAE se reanuda este martes con ministra Arzola

La Comisión de Educación de la Cámara retomará este martes el análisis del proyecto de ley que modifica el Sistema de Admisión Escolar, con la participación de la ministra María Paz Arzola.

El gobierno del Presidente José Antonio Kast ingresó el proyecto que crea dos vías paralelas para la admisión: la Elección Mutua, que permite a colegios con alta demanda seleccionar por criterios como rendimiento académico, y la Asignación Aleatoria, que se mantiene para el resto.

La ministra responderá consultas pendientes en la sesión de 15 a 17 horas del martes. Al día siguiente la comisión seguirá debatiendo sin ella y escuchará a actores del mundo educativo.

Diputados de oposición y expertos de la mesa técnica previa han cuestionado la iniciativa. Sylvia Eyzaguirre del CEP dijo que no existe argumento racional para sistemas independientes del SAE. Luis Pardo de RN defendió que responde a una demanda ciudadana por mérito.
