PT Integrasi Aviation Solusi (IAS) held Program IAS Terampil Batch 2 in Yogyakarta, continuing the success of Batch 1 in Batam. The program focuses on developing Basic Facility Care competencies for 30 local participants near the airport. It aims to enhance workforce quality in the national aviation sector.
Program IAS Terampil Batch 2 was organized by PT Integrasi Aviation Solusi or InJourney Aviation Services (IAS), a sub-holding of InJourney, in Yogyakarta. It is part of the company's sustainable strategy to support improvements in national airport services quality. The training focuses on Basic Facility Care, covering comprehensive understanding of facility maintenance, application of standard operational procedures, occupational safety and health (K3) aspects, and principles of effective, efficient, and sustainable maintenance.
IAS Human Capital Director, Israwadi, stated that the program reflects a long-term investment in developing workforce capabilities. "The success of IAS Terampil Batch 1 in Batam serves as our foundation to continue and expand. Through Batch 2 in Yogyakarta, we aim to produce technically competent human resources, as well as those with deep understanding of service standards and safety culture in the airport environment," said Israwadi at Hotel Novotel Yogyakarta on Monday (15/12/2025).
There are 30 participants from residents near the airport. The program opens job opportunities and supports economic growth in the national aviation industry, in line with government support. Over five days, participants underwent structured training including in-depth material presentations, interactive discussions, case studies based on best practices, and guided field practice sessions led by experienced instructors. Participants will also receive certification from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) and opportunities for On Job Training (OJT).
Acting Director of HR at Angkasa Pura Support, Ricko Respati, explained that the training covers technical aspects, attitudes, and service standards. "Here, we don't just teach technically, but we also equip participants with soft skills," said Ricko. The BNSP certification provides significant added value for recruitment, although there is no direct job guarantee, with an objective process involving PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia.
This program is part of the annual CSR of the IAS Group, involving IAS, Angkasa Pura Support, IASS, IAS High, IAS Hospitality, IAS Property, and Gapura. IAS emphasizes inclusivity, including for persons with disabilities. Israwadi hopes to produce workers with high integrity, strong work ethic, and strong orientation toward quality and airport service safety.
