Palasyo umaasa na mas maraming bangko ang magwa-waive ng digital transfer fees

Ipinahayag ng Malacañang ang pag-asa na mas maraming bangko ang gawing libre ang digital fund transfers matapos ang hakbang ng LandBank at dalawang pribadong bangko.

Sinabi ni Palace press officer Claire Castro na binawasan ng LandBank ang transfer fees at inalis ang convenience fees para sa ilang person-to-government transactions alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Marcos.

“Wish all banks will emulate what LandBank started so it will be helpful to our countrymen,” ani Castro sa press briefing.

Bukod sa LandBank, ang Bank of the Philippine Islands at Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. ay nagwa-waive na rin ng fund transfer charges.

Ang apela ng Palasyo ay kasunod ng galaw ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas na babaan ang halaga ng digital transactions para hikayatin ang mas malawak na paggamit at itaguyod ang financial inclusion.
