Un agent d'IA crée sa propre entreprise avec l'approbation de l'IRS

Un agent d'intelligence artificielle nommé Manfred est devenu le premier à établir de manière autonome sa propre société en obtenant un numéro d'identification d'employeur auprès de l'Internal Revenue Service (IRS) des États-Unis. Ce développement a été annoncé par ClawBank, le projet à l'origine de l'agent, qui a également confirmé que Manfred détient un compte bancaire assuré par la FDIC ainsi qu'un portefeuille de cryptomonnaies.

Justice Conder, le développeur derrière ClawBank, a déclaré que Manfred a initié et finalisé le processus de constitution juridique sans intervention humaine. « À la connaissance de l'entreprise, c'est la première fois qu'un agent d'IA initie et complète de manière autonome la constitution juridique de sa propre société », a affirmé Conder dans une déclaration envoyée par courriel. L'agent opère sous le nom de Manfred Macx sur la plateforme de réseaux sociaux X, utilisant une image de profil du personnage fictif Max Headroom issu de la série télévisée de 1985.
