Des moddeurs intègrent le rollback netcode aux jeux multijoueurs de la N64

Une mise à jour récente de l'émulateur RMG-K prend désormais en charge le rollback netcode pour les titres de la Nintendo 64. Ce changement permet un jeu en ligne plus fluide pour des titres comme Super Smash Bros. Auparavant, les joueurs étaient confrontés à des délais avec les anciennes options de netcode.

La version 0.9.4 de RMG-K est sortie le 14 mai avec cette nouvelle fonctionnalité. Elle fonctionne sur l'ensemble des jeux multijoueurs de la Nintendo 64 et offre une performance à faible latence, même avec des pings élevés. Une démonstration a montré quatre images de rollback gérant efficacement 320 millisecondes de latence.
