BPOM temukan 14 kosmetik mengandung bahan berbahaya

Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan menindaklanjuti 14 kosmetik yang mengandung bahan berbahaya dalam pengawasan triwulan kedua 2026.

Kepala BPOM Taruna Ikrar mengatakan dari 14 produk tersebut 11 merupakan produk lokal yang dibuat berdasarkan kontrak produksi satu produk impor dan dua produk tanpa izin edar.

Bahan berbahaya yang ditemukan antara lain asam retinoat hidrokuinon merkuri pewarna merah Klobetasol propionat dan mometasol furoat.

Taruna menjelaskan merkuri dapat menyebabkan perubahan warna kulit reaksi alergi iritasi sakit kepala diare hingga muntah sementara asam retinoat berisiko mengubah bentuk organ janin bagi wanita hamil.

Tindak lanjut yang dilakukan mencakup pencabutan nomor izin edar peringatan keras perintah penarikan dan pemusnahan serta penghentian sementara kegiatan.
