BPOM cabut izin edar 11 kosmetik yang mengandung bahan berbahaya

Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan mencabut izin edar 11 produk kosmetik yang mengandung bahan berbahaya dan dilarang setelah pengawasan pada triwulan pertama 2026.

Kepala BPOM Taruna Ikrar menyatakan bahwa tindakan ini mencakup penghentian sementara produksi, distribusi, dan impor kosmetik tersebut. Empat merek berasal dari produksi kontrak, dua merek lokal, dua merek impor, dan tiga tanpa izin edar.

Pengujian laboratorium mengungkap bahan seperti asam retinoat, deksametason, hidrokinon, merkuri, pewarna merah K10, dan 1,4-dioksan. Bahan-bahan ini berisiko menyebabkan iritasi kulit, gangguan hormonal, perubahan warna permanen, kerusakan organ, dan kanker.

BPOM juga menegakkan Pasal 435 ayat (1) jo. Pasal 138 ayat (2) Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan. Pelanggaran dapat dikenai pidana penjara hingga 12 tahun atau denda Rp5 miliar.
