Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, has expressed deep disappointment over the extended development time for the next BioShock game but said he feels more positive about its current direction.
Zelnick spoke about the project in a recent interview with Game File. He noted that the team struggled to find the right creative direction and wasted time and money on dead ends that led nowhere. The next installment has been in development at Cloud Chamber since the studio was formed in 2019 following the closure of Irrational Games after BioShock Infinite.
