Chef Heaven Delhaye opens first restaurant in São Paulo

Chef Heaven Delhaye, known from MasterChef Profissionais, has opened her first restaurant in São Paulo. The D'Heaven in Jardins is in soft open and serves French-inspired dishes with grill elements. It is the fifth unit of the group, which already has locations in Rio de Janeiro.

It is no longer necessary to go to Rio de Janeiro to try Chef Heaven Delhaye's cuisine. She opened D'Heaven in São Paulo, in the Jardins area of the west side of the city. The restaurant is in soft open, meaning initial operations with limited capacity, and does not accept reservations yet.

The venue keeps the bistro concept with international references but introduces the use of the grill as a novelty in the menu. Among the starters, the tuna tartare (R$ 73) stands out, served over grilled avocado, with Peruvian yellow ají sauce, basil olive oil, and sweet potato chips. Another item is the octopus skewer (R$ 73), accompanied by crispy potato mille-feuille and sauces like Greek yogurt, romesco, and chimichurri.

For main courses, the spaghetti carbonara (R$ 96) is a classic from the Rio units, flambéed at the table with a torch in a parmesan wheel, crispy bacon, brioche crumble, and free-range egg yolk. Exclusive to São Paulo, the grilled octopus (R$ 98) comes with pancetta risotto, chimichurri, and greens. The chef recommends the cupim mille-feuille (R$ 98), meat processed for thin slices in demi-glace, with mandioquinha puree, plantain tataki, and crumble.

Heaven Delhaye, from the third season of MasterChef Profissionais, draws customers for photos and greetings in the dining room. The drinks menu includes classics and originals, such as bellini with brut, pineapple, and peach (R$ 68) and strawberry martini (R$ 51) with vodka, strawberry shrub, lemon, and spices. There are non-alcoholic options like green apple, red fruits, and jabuticaba sodas (R$ 28).

The dessert menu has three options: Sicilian lemon bar with torched meringue and pistachio (R$ 42), cassava cake with coconut, dulce de leche, and yogurt ice cream (R$ 39), and dark and white chocolate mousse (R$ 42). The space offers intimate tables for two or larger groups, plus an outdoor area.
