香港高等法院将于周一审理恒大清盘人起诉普华永道的案件

香港高等法院定于周一就恒大清盘人针对普华永道(PwC)审计问题提出的索赔要求举行一场公开聆讯。

此次聆讯由法官冯柏栋主理,涉及清盘人就该房地产开发商的审计问题向普华永道寻求赔偿的事宜。此前,监管机构已对该公司采取了相关行动。

上个月,香港证券及期货事务监察委员会与普华永道香港达成协议,要求其就严重的专业审计失当行为向少数股东支付10亿港元的赔偿。会计及财务汇报局则分别对普华永道处以3亿港元罚款,并对其施加了为期六个月的业务限制。

会计及财务汇报局同时发现,普华永道在恒大2019年及2020年账目审计工作中存在多项严重审计缺陷。两名前合伙人因涉及此事各被罚款500万港元。
