協会は「必要に応じて、法曹協会は本件を事務弁護士懲戒審判所の審判長に付託し、懲戒手続きを行う。調査の過程で刑事犯罪が特定された場合、法曹協会は香港警察に調査を委ねる」としている。

閉鎖業務を担当する介入代理人には、現地の法律事務所であるRobertsonsが指名された。同事務所は旺角(モンコック)や招商永隆銀行センターなどの拠点に関連しており、Raymond Lam Yat-wah弁護士が関わっている。
