この実験案を開発したのは、クリストファー・トゥママック、ライアン・アンドリュー・ドーニャ、ローズ・アン・セザールの3名の学生である。同案は、2024年11月から2025年1月までの間にフィリピン国内から提出された89件の応募の中から選出された。
フィリピン宇宙庁の関係者によると、実験の結果は微小重力環境におけるジャイロスコープの動きに関する学生たちの予測と一致したという。研究結果は、今年後半に開催されるコンテストの締めくくりセッションで発表される予定である。
