今年のテーマ「ホモ・ドゥドゥリ（Homo Duduri）」は、人工知能時代における人間であることの意味を探求するものです。また、外交関係樹立140周年を記念してフランスが主賓国として招かれました。
小説家のキム・ヨンス氏は、AIと共同執筆したテーマ声明の中で、人間はより大きな問いかけを通じて可能性の扉を再び開くと述べています。初日には金恵淑（キム・ヘギョン）大統領夫人が会場を訪れ、本の持つ力を称えました。
