韓国産業通商資源部と中国江蘇省政府は水曜日、両地域の経済・貿易協力を促進するための合同フォーラムを開催した。
第7回韓国・江蘇省ビジネス貿易交流フォーラムが、江蘇省東部の塩城市で開催された。韓国の呂翰奎（ヨ・ハング）産業通商資源部長官をはじめ、両国から政府関係者や企業経営者ら約400人が参加した。
韓国企業は中国企業との間で300件以上のビジネス商談を行い、海苔加工メーカーの広川海苔（KwangCheonKim）やHSヒョソンアドバンスドマテリアルズ（HS Hyosung Advanced Materials）といった企業を含め、計230万ドル相当の輸出契約11件を締結した。
江蘇省は韓国にとって最大の貿易・投資相手地域である。同省にはサムスン電子、SKハイニックス、起亜（Kia）など、3000社以上の韓国企業が進出している。2025年の両地域の貿易額は863億ドルに達し、韓国と中国の貿易総額の30.6％を占めた。
