한국 산업통상자원부와 중국 장쑤성 정부가 수요일 경제 및 무역 협력을 위한 공동 포럼을 열었다.
포럼은 중국 장쑤성 옌청시에서 열렸으며 양측에서 정부 관계자와 기업인 약 400명이 참석했다. 여기에는 여한구 산업통상자원부 장관도 포함됐다.
한국 기업들은 중국 바이어들과 300건 이상의 상담을 진행했으며 11건의 수출 계약을 체결해 230만 달러 규모의 거래를 성사시켰다. 계약사로는 광천김과 HS효성첨단소재 등이 참여했다.
장쑤성은 한국의 최대 무역·투자 파트너 지역으로 2025년 양측 교역액은 863억 달러에 달했다. 이는 한국과 중국 전체 교역의 30.6%를 차지한다. 여한구 장관은 포럼 개회사에서 지방 정부 간 협력의 중요성을 강조하며 지속적인 경제 협력을 약속했다.
