장쑤성은 한국의 최대 무역·투자 파트너 지역으로 2025년 양측 교역액은 863억 달러에 달했다. 이는 한국과 중국 전체 교역의 30.6%를 차지한다. 여한구 장관은 포럼 개회사에서 지방 정부 간 협력의 중요성을 강조하며 지속적인 경제 협력을 약속했다.
