중국 농업농촌부는 7월 17일부터 23일까지 중국 관할권 내 대만 섬 동부 해역에서 조사선이 어업 자원 조사를 수행했다고 목요일 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 중국수산과학원 산하 동중국해수산연구소의 '란하이 201(Lanhai 201)' 조사선이 수행했다.
이번 조사는 중국 관할 해역의 어업 자원에 대한 포괄적인 이해를 도모하고 해양 수산물의 보존 및 지속 가능한 개발을 지원하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 해당 지역은 어업 자원이 풍부하며 참치 등 주요 상업 어종의 중요한 산란장 역할을 하는 곳이다.
조사 과정에서는 다학제적 방법을 동원해 어류, 두족류, 갑각류 샘플과 환경 DNA를 수집했다. 또한 수산 음향, 수문학 및 기상학에 관한 기초 데이터도 확보했다.
