앞서 4월 28일 청와대에서 열린 국무회의 및 비상경제점검회의에서 이 위원장은 이재명 대통령의 질문에 답변하는 모습을 보였다. 이번 발언은 금융 부문의 혁신을 촉진하기 위한 규제 완화 의지를 강조한 것이다.
