Camacero projeta crescimento de 2% a 3% para a indústria siderúrgica em 2026

A Câmara Colombiana do Aço (Camacero) estima que a indústria siderúrgica na Colômbia crescerá entre 2% e 3% em 2026, superando vários países latino-americanos. A região deve registrar crescimento de até 4%. Essas projeções baseiam-se nos dados de importações de 2025, que indicaram um ligeiro aumento.

A Câmara Colombiana do Aço, conhecida como Camacero, projetou um crescimento moderado para a indústria siderúrgica na Colômbia. O grupo setorial prevê uma expansão entre 2% e 3% em 2026, enquanto a região poderia alcançar até 4%, superando países como Brasil, Chile e Equador. Os importadores líderes foram Acesco Colombia S.A.S. com 161.127 toneladas, La Campana Servicios de Acero com 9.982 toneladas, e Aceros Cortados com 6.958 toneladas. Alacero stated that 40% of steel consumed in the region is imported. Camacero warns of excess production and a lack of consumers, which could erode profitability if not addressed.
