Ex-subsecretário Ramos classifica acusação de Quintana sobre apoio à polícia como “falsa e irresponsável”

O ex-subsecretário do Interior, Víctor Ramos, rebateu a subsecretária de Prevenção ao Crime, Ana Victoria Quintana, que criticou o governo anterior por deixar a polícia sem apoio moral. Ramos descreveu as declarações dela como falsas e irresponsáveis, apontando que há evidências contundentes do fortalecimento da polícia durante a gestão do presidente Gabriel Boric. A subsecretária de Prevenção ao Crime, Ana Victoria Quintana, criticou a gestão de segurança do governo anterior em uma entrevista ao La Tercera. “Eles deixaram a polícia sozinha, desarmaram-na — e não me refiro a armas, refiro-me ao moral. Eles não os instruíram sobre o que significava exercer funções policiais e o respeito que deveriam receber”, afirmou.

Quintana acrescentou que o governo atual foca em políticas públicas direcionadas, diferentemente do anterior, “porque consideramos que o governo anterior agiu de forma errada”.

Em resposta, o ex-subsecretário do Interior, Víctor Ramos, publicou no X que “a evidência a favor do fortalecimento da polícia que realizamos a partir do governo do presidente Gabriel Boric é esmagadora e não vale a pena discutir uma afirmação tão falsa e irresponsável”.

Ramos alertou que Quintana expõe desnecessariamente a polícia a debates públicos, de forma semelhante ao caso da PDI, e concluiu: “É uma pena que quem se pretende ser o farol moral da polícia a exponha desnecessariamente por caprichos políticos e ideológicos”.
