Madri limitará cartão de transporte a residentes registrados a partir de 15 de junho

A região de Madri exigirá comprovante de residência a partir de segunda-feira, 15 de junho, para obter ou renovar o cartão de transporte público pessoal.

A medida, publicada na sexta-feira no boletim oficial da região de Madri, restringe a emissão do cartão de transporte pessoal a residentes de municípios da região ou das zonas tarifárias E1 e E2. Os requerentes devem apresentar um certificado de residência ou autorizar sua consulta.

O governo regional declarou que a norma implementa a Lei do Consórcio Regional de Transportes e que 94 por cento do financiamento do transporte público provém da Comunidade e dos municípios de Madri. Fontes do departamento de transporte disseram que "é lógico que esses subsídios beneficiem principalmente aqueles que os apoiam com seus impostos".

A restrição não será retroativa e afetará 3,4 por cento dos usuários. Os acordos existentes com Castilla-La Mancha e Castilla y León permanecem em vigor, assim como as exceções para famílias numerosas.
