Serviço de Migrações permite saída de venezuelanos com documentos vencidos por razões humanitárias

O Serviço Nacional de Migrações anunciou um protocolo que permite que residentes venezuelanos no Chile deixem o país com documentos vencidos após os terremotos na Venezuela.

O diretor de Migrações, Frank Sauerbaum, explicou que a medida se baseia em razões humanitárias e no artigo 157, nº 4, da Lei de Migração e Estrangeiros.

Residentes regulares, irregulares e até mesmo aqueles que entraram por vias não autorizadas podem optar por esta saída, desde que o destino seja a Venezuela.

Os residentes irregulares devem comprovar o pagamento da multa correspondente online através do portal do Sermig. Aqueles que entraram irregularmente passarão pelo controle da Polícia de Investigações no Aeroporto Arturo Merino Benítez.

Sauerbaum observou que muitos cidadãos venezuelanos enfrentam estresse emocional devido à perda de familiares ou desejam ajudar na reconstrução do país.
