Migraciones permite salida de venezolanos con documentos vencidos por razones humanitarias

El Servicio Nacional de Migraciones informó un protocolo para que residentes venezolanos en Chile salgan del país con documentos vencidos tras los terremotos en Venezuela.

El director de Migraciones, Frank Sauerbaum, explicó que la medida se basa en razones humanitarias y en el artículo 157 N°4 de la ley de Migraciones y Extranjería.

Podrán optar a esta salida los residentes regulares, irregulares e incluso quienes ingresaron por pasos no habilitados, siempre que su destino sea Venezuela.

Los residentes irregulares deben acreditar el pago de la multa correspondiente de forma online en el portal del Sermig. Aquellos que ingresaron de manera irregular serán controlados por la Policía de Investigaciones en el Aeropuerto Arturo Merino Benítez.

Sauerbaum señaló que muchos ciudadanos venezolanos enfrentan estrés emocional por la pérdida de familiares o desean colaborar en la reconstrucción de su país.
