广东省政府周六在一份通知中宣布，香港车辆北上广东方案的有效期延长五年，至2031年6月1日。该方案于2023年6月1日生效，原定为期三年。
根据方案，合资格香港私家车车主可经港珠澳大桥进入广东，无需大陆车牌或双牌照许可。驾车者每次最长可停留30天，每年上限180天。
港珠澳大桥仍是该方案唯一指定过境点。通知指出，实施过程中遇到的任何问题应向广东省公安厅报告。
