عقد مكتب الإسكان في إدارة مدينة أديس أبابا حلقة نقاش حول دراسة أسعار الإيجارات لعام 2019. وستدخل الأسعار الجديدة حيز التنفيذ اعتباراً من 30 يونيو 2018 حسب التقويم الإثيوبي.

صرحت رئيسة المكتب كيدست و/جيورجيس بأن مرسوم مراقبة الإيجارات سارٍ منذ عام 2016 حسب التقويم الإثيوبي. ويسمح هذا الإجراء للمستأجرين بالبقاء في موقع واحد لمدة عامين على الأقل. أخذت دراسة الأسعار في الاعتبار القدرة الدفعية للمستأجرين ودخل الملاك دون التسبب في ضرر لأي طرف، وشملت الدراسة جميع المدن الفرعية. وستتم عمليات تجديد العقود باستخدام عمليات مدعومة تكنولوجياً في مراكز "ميسوب" للخدمة الشاملة.
