The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones is in the final stages of launching its Investor Complaints Platform. Mohamed Awad, chief executive officer of GAFI, reviewed the technical and operational preparations for the unified digital system.

The platform is being implemented following directives from Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid. It will allow investors to submit complaints and suggestions through a user-friendly interface with defined response timeframes and track progress using a reference number.

Awad said the tool will generate real-time reports and use Artificial Intelligence to classify complaints. GAFI has allocated infrastructure, staff, and coordination mechanisms with other government entities to support operations and awareness campaigns after launch.
