Qualitätszertifizierungsdienstleistung auf Basis der Freihandelszone Dire Dawa gestartet

Premierminister Dr. Abiy Ahmed hat angekündigt, dass eine Qualitätszertifizierungsdienstleistung auf Basis der Freihandelszone und des Trockenhafens Dire Dawa angeboten wird. Dieser Dienst, eingeweiht von der Dire-Dawa-Niederlassung des Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise, entspricht internationalen Standards.

In Addis Abeba am Katit 29, 2018 EC (entsprechend dem Datum im äthiopischen Kalender) teilte Premierminister Dr. Abiy Ahmed diese Nachricht in einem Social-Media-Post mit. Er hob die Eröffnung der Dire-Dawa-Niederlassung als wichtige Entwicklung hervor. Das Ethiopian Conformity Assessment Enterprise (ECAE) bietet Qualitätszertifizierungsdienste nach internationalen Standardisierungssystemen an. Diese Dienste richten sich an Hersteller, Dienstleister, Exporteure, Importeure, Auftragsfertiger, Forschungseinrichtungen und die breite Öffentlichkeit. Um die Erreichbarkeit in der Region Dire Dawa für lokale Hersteller und Dienstleister zu verbessern, wurde ein neues Testlabor eingerichtet, das die Infrastruktur der Freihandelszone und des Trockenhafens nutzt. Das Unternehmen hat zuvor Zertifizierungen für Speiseöle, Waschmittelprodukte, verschiedene Lebensmittel, Pflege- und Hygieneprodukte sowie Baumaterialien und -einsätze angeboten. Diese Initiative unterstützt den Handel und das Wirtschaftswachstum durch Sicherstellung der Einhaltung globaler Standards.
