Banco Agrario anuncia alivios para productores afectados por emergencia climática

El Banco Agrario habilitó un proceso de reprogramación de deudas para productores agropecuarios en 158 municipios afectados por la emergencia climática bajo el Decreto 175 de 2026.

El anuncio fue realizado por el presidente de la entidad, Hernando Chica Zuccardi. El programa busca apoyar a quienes tienen créditos de fomento agropecuario otorgados antes del 11 de febrero de este año en departamentos como Córdoba, Sucre, La Guajira, Chocó, Bolívar, Cesar, Magdalena y Antioquia.

El proceso contempla dos opciones: refinanciación con periodos de gracia y alivios directos a la deuda. El Gobierno nacional cubrirá hasta el 95 por ciento de las obligaciones según el decreto emitido por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural.

Los interesados deben presentar un certificado de afectación emitido por las autoridades locales. El plazo para hacerlo vence el 15 de mayo próximo. Chica Zuccardi indicó que el banco analizará cómo aliviar las obligaciones para que los productores recuperen su capacidad productiva.
