La esposa del presidente del Gobierno, Begoña Gómez, ha entregado su pasaporte este miércoles en los juzgados de Plaza de Castilla en Madrid, cumpliendo una medida cautelar impuesta por el juez Juan Carlos Peinado.

Gómez acudió al juzgado alrededor de las 18.00 horas acompañada de su abogado Antonio Camacho. Entró por el garaje tras autorización de la jueza decana María Jesús del Barco por motivos de seguridad.

El juez Peinado impuso la entrega del pasaporte, junto con la prohibición de salir de España y comparecencias quincenales, tras enviar a juicio a Gómez el sábado anterior por presuntos delitos de tráfico de influencias, corrupción en los negocios, apropiación indebida y malversación.

La defensa ha recurrido las medidas ante la Audiencia Provincial de Madrid. El Gobierno y el PSOE han criticado la decisión como desproporcionada, mientras el CGPJ ha iniciado un expediente al juez por sus declaraciones sobre los escoltas policiales.
