La CNI presenta una demanda ante el STF contra la MP que eliminó el impuesto a las 'blusinhas'

La Confederación Nacional de la Industria presentó una demanda ante el Tribunal Supremo Federal contra la medida provisional firmada por el presidente Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva que eliminó el impuesto federal a las compras internacionales de hasta 50 dólares.

La acción directa de inconstitucionalidad fue presentada el viernes (22/5). La CNI sostiene que la MP viola los principios constitucionales de isonomía y libre competencia, y que además carece de la urgencia requerida.

La medida provisional fue firmada por Lula el 12 de mayo. Según la CNI, la reducción a cero de la tasa del 20% otorga un trato diferenciado a las importaciones y perjudica al mercado interno.

El director jurídico de la CNI, Alexandre Vitorino, afirmó que la revocación no reúne la urgencia necesaria para ser promulgada mediante una medida provisional. La entidad también destacó la pérdida de empleos y el perjuicio para la economía brasileña.

El impuesto a las 'blusinhas' recaudó 8.200 millones de reales desde agosto de 2024, incluidos 1.800 millones de reales en los primeros cuatro meses de 2026.
