Contralora Pérez afirma que no se detectaron delitos en compras de terrenos del Minvu

La contralora general de la República, Dorothy Pérez, compareció ante la comisión de Vivienda de la Cámara de Diputados para explicar el Informe Final N° 421 sobre la compra de terrenos por el Ministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo durante la gestión de Carlos Montes.

Pérez aclaró que la Contraloría no remitió el informe al Ministerio Público porque no encontró antecedentes que revistieran caracteres de delito. La funcionaria precisó que el organismo solo investiga responsabilidades administrativas y civiles, y que se debe esperar el resultado del sumario administrativo en curso.

La sesión no pudo extenderse por falta de unanimidad, por lo que el ministro de Vivienda y Urbanismo, Iván Poduje, no pudo realizar su presentación. Poduje criticó el tiempo y recursos invertidos, señalando que preparaba un reporte sobre irregularidades graves detectadas a partir del informe de la Contraloría.

Poduje afirmó que el documento ministerial destacará “falencias de política pública muy graves, equipos duplicados y compras totalmente irracionales”.
