Hong Kong impulsa el desarrollo de la IA con nuevos proyectos

El secretario de Finanzas, Paul Chan Mo-po, declaró el domingo que Hong Kong está impulsando el desarrollo de la Inteligencia Artificial, lo que incluye planes para abrir su primera tienda de conveniencia operada por un robot humanoide.

Chan señaló en su blog que el clúster de instalaciones de datos de Sandy Ridge está en construcción y se espera que alcance una capacidad de 180.000 PFLOPS para 2032, lo que supone 36 veces la capacidad actual. El plan de subsidios para la Inteligencia Artificial ya ha aprobado más de 30 proyectos que abarcan áreas como los modelos de lenguaje a gran escala y la inteligencia incorporada. Hong Kong abrirá pronto en Hung Hom una tienda de conveniencia abierta las 24 horas, operada por un robot humanoide de una empresa de China continental especializada en IA incorporada, siendo esta su primera incursión fuera de China continental.
