El exalcalde Joaquín Lavín Infante visitó por primera vez a su hijo Joaquín Lavín León en el Anexo Cárcel Capitán Yáber la tarde del miércoles.

Lavín Infante conversó brevemente con la prensa tras el encuentro. Afirmó que su hijo estaba tranquilo y esperanzado pese a la situación. El hijo se encuentra en prisión preventiva desde el viernes pasado por delitos de fraude al Fisco, tráfico de influencias y falsificación.

El exalcalde agradeció las muestras de cariño recibidas por la familia. Indicó que prefieren evitar la televisión y los diarios para mantener la paz. La visita ocurrió un día después de que la Corte de Santiago declarara admisible un amparo contra la prisión preventiva.

En una visita anterior el lunes, Lavín Infante expresó su dolor familiar y reafirmó su creencia en la inocencia de su hijo y de Cathy Barriga.
