México impone restricciones a viajeros por brote de ébola

Aeroméxico y Viva Aerobus anunciaron restricciones para pasajeros que hayan estado en Congo, Uganda o Sudán del Sur en las últimas tres semanas. La medida responde a un brote de ébola y se mantendrá por 60 días.

Las aerolíneas mexicanas aplican la restricción a partir del 28 de mayo para personas sin pasaporte mexicano. Los viajeros mexicanos quedan exentos de la medida.

La Secretaría de Salud activó un protocolo preventivo ante el brote de la variante Bundibugyo. El secretario David Kershenobich señaló que el riesgo en México es muy bajo pero recomendó reprogramar viajes.

Gobiernos de México, Estados Unidos y Canadá emitieron un comunicado conjunto para coordinar acciones sanitarias antes del Mundial 2026. Se instalarán filtros en aeropuertos como el AICM.

Kershenobich explicó que se registrará a pasajeros sospechosos y se les contactará cada 24 horas durante el periodo de incubación del virus.
