Microsoft verse 250 millions de dollars pour clore le litige lié au rachat d'Activision Blizzard

Microsoft a accepté de verser 250 millions de dollars pour mettre fin à une action en justice intentée par un fonds de pension suédois concernant l'acquisition d'Activision Blizzard en 2022. Cet accord met fin aux allégations selon lesquelles la transaction de 69 milliards de dollars sous-évaluait l'entreprise et avait été précipitée en raison de scandales antérieurs.

Le fonds de pension suédois Sjunde AP-Fonden avait poursuivi Activision Blizzard ainsi que son ancien PDG Bobby Kotick. Il soutenait que la transaction avait été finalisée dans la précipitation afin d'éviter les répercussions des accusations d'inconduite sexuelle qui circulaient à l'époque. L'affaire avait progressé devant la Cour de chancellerie du Delaware l'automne dernier avant que cet accord ne soit conclu.
