Les développeurs de Double Fine déposent une pétition pour former un syndicat chez Microsoft

Les employés du studio de jeux vidéo Double Fine, propriété de Microsoft, ont déposé une pétition auprès du National Labor Relations Board le 7 mai afin de former un syndicat. Le groupe, composé de 42 employés à temps plein et à temps partiel, demande à la fois la tenue d'une élection et une reconnaissance volontaire de la part de l'entreprise. Cette initiative est soutenue par le syndicat Communications Workers of America.

L'annonce est intervenue peu après la sortie du dernier jeu du studio, Kiln, lancé sur le Game Pass. Double Fine est connu pour des titres tels que Psychonauts et a été acquis par Microsoft en 2018. Cette pétition marque la première tentative de syndicalisation au sein d'un studio Xbox indépendant sous la direction de la nouvelle PDG, Asha Sharma.
