Microsoft restructure ses bureaux en Israël suite à une enquête sur les données

Microsoft a restructuré ses opérations israéliennes après une enquête interne sur des préoccupations éthiques concernant les pratiques de stockage de données. Le directeur général et plusieurs autres cadres ont quitté l'entreprise. Le bureau sera temporairement supervisé par Microsoft France.

Ces changements font suite à des informations selon lesquelles le ministère de la Défense israélien a utilisé les services cloud de Microsoft pour stocker des données sensibles obtenues par le biais de la surveillance à Gaza et en Cisjordanie. Microsoft a mis fin à son accord avec une unité de renseignement de Tsahal en septembre dernier après l'émergence de protestations concernant cet arrangement.
