QJMotor, part of China's Qianjiang Group with roots in the 1980s supplying components to Benelli, Keeway, and others, partnered with MV Agusta in 2020 for technical collaboration and market expansion. This influenced rally-inspired models like the MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 5.5 (later evolving under Pierer Mobility's Enduro Veloce). The SRT 125 DX builds on this legacy, offering full-sized adventure proportions at entry-level specs.
Visually striking with a tall windscreen, spoked wheels, dual LED headlights, contoured tank, and serpentine exhaust, it rivals pricier bikes from BMW, Royal Enfield, and Yamaha. The liquid-cooled, four-valve 125cc single-cylinder engine produces 15 horsepower at 9,500 rpm and 9.2 pound-feet of torque at 7,500 rpm, transmitted via a six-speed gearbox and chain drive.
The tubular steel cradle frame supports an upside-down front fork and preload-adjustable rear shock, yielding 8.9 inches of ground clearance and a 33.9-inch seat height (potentially tall for shorter riders). At 284 pounds wet, it's manageable. Braking uses an 11.8-inch front disc with dual-piston caliper and 8.7-inch rear disc, both with ABS.
Standout features include hand guards, rear rack, 5-inch TFT display with connectivity, and dual USB ports—rare in this class. Priced at €3,999 (about $4,635 USD) in Europe, it meets A1 limits. No U.S. release is announced, though QJMotor's growth hints at potential future availability.
