同プログラムのディレクターを務めるドナルド・ロウ教授は、AI時代のリーダーシップには、相反する利益を比較衡量し、市民の福祉を常に中心に据えることが求められると述べた。このプログラムは、公務員、NGO、規制産業などで5年から6年の経験を持つ中堅キャリアの専門家を対象としている。AIリテラシーをニッチなトピックとして扱うのではなく、カリキュラム全体に組み込んでいるのが特徴だ。ロウ教授は、「一国二制度」の下での香港の法制度やデータフレームワークは、規制やプライバシーを議論する上で有益な環境であると指摘した。2024年に卒業し、現在はBEAM Society Limitedでシステム開発の責任者を務める卒業生のLo Tim Man Him氏は、このコースのおかげで社会経済的課題を分析する能力が向上したと語った。これまでに5つのコホートが同プログラムを修了している。
